Sheikh Ahmed Metwally Mohammed

Dr. Ahmed Mohamed holds a M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Biology from Queen’s University in Canada, and a MA in Islamic Studies from the Islamic University of Minnesota. He also holds an Ijazah (traditional Islamic license) to transmit and teach Quran recitation, Tajweed, Aqeeda, principles of Fiqh and principles of Hadeeth. Previously, Dr. Mohamed worked as a faculty member at Rutgers University, College of Staten Island, and Raritan Valley Community College. Currently, Dr. Mohamed is acting as the Resident Director of Youth and Young Adults Islamic Studies at the Islamic Society of Central Jersey.

Sheikh Mohammad El-Shinawy

Graduate of English Literature – Brooklyn College, NYC. Studied at College of Hadith at the Islamic University of Madinah. Currently completing Bachelors in Islamic Studies at Mishkah University. Translated major works for the International Islamic Publishing House, the Assembly of Muslim Jurists of America, and Mishkah University.

Sheikh Navaid Aziz

Navaid Aziz is a Canadian Muslim public figure with a diverse academic and social background. He is currently focused on the education and integration of Muslim youth, with the hopes of eradicating radicalization. He was raised in Montreal, Quebec where he completed a diplome d’etudes collegiales (D.E.C.) in commerce and Social Sciences from Champlain College before heading to the Islamic University of Madinah where he completed an Associates Degree in Arabic Language and Literature and Bachelors in Islamic Law. Upon returning home to Canada, Navaid began teaching for Al-Maghrib Institute. He has since transitioned to their Director of Public Relations. During this period, he volunteered as the Islamic Editor for Little Explorers Magazine and began his work as a youth and family counsellor. It was also during this time that he established himself as a sought after public speaker. He has lectured across four continents and eighteen countries thus far.

Dr. Tahir Wyatt

Dr. Tahir Wyatt is a published academic, experienced interpreter, and instructor of Islamic studies and comparative religion. During his twenty-one years of studying and teaching in Saudi Arabia, he procured several degrees, including a doctorate in theology. He was also the only American ever to be appointed to teach in the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, the second holiest site in the Muslim world. Dr. Wyatt currently lectures both nationally and internationally at mosques, universities, and other institutions of learning. He serves as the Executive Director of the United Muslim Masjid in Philadelphia and is the President of the Quran, Arabic, and Reflection Institute (QARI), an institute dedicated to structured, curriculum-based instruction of the Quran and Arabic Language.

Sheikh Jamaal al-Din M. Zarabozo

Sheikh Jamaal al-Din M. Zarabozo, born 1960 is a Spanish parented, French-born, and American based Islamic scholar, lecturer, and author of numerous books on Islam and speaker of many lectures on Islam.

Shaykh Tariq AiwadAllah

Shaykh Tariq AiwadAllah is one of the world’s top hadith scholars and is a leading expert on the various branches of hadith sciences. He has studied with various hadith masters and is one of the revivers of the science of hadith in Egypt. He received his B.A. from Cairo University’s Dar Al-Ulum in Islamic studies, and then received his M.A. and PhD from the Islamic University of Minnesota in hadith sciences. He has authored about forty books on the many sciences of hadith, and teaches various hadith texts all over the world. He currently is the head of the Hadith Department at the Islamic University of Minnesota.

Sheikh Ahmed Khater

Sheikh Ahmed Khater is the founder of Zidni Islamic Institute. He was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in legal studies, then pursued a second B.A. from Al-Azhar University in Egypt in the Islamic sciences and the Arabic language, received an M.A. from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley in Islamic Law, and now is a PhD student at the Graduate Theological Union in Islamic legal theory and theology. He also has holds a B.A. and an M.A. in Islamic studies from the Islamic University of Minnesota. He has received ijazat (licenses) in various Islamic sciences, including ijazah to teach and narrate the Hanbali madhhab. He is a lecturer of Arabic and Islamic Studies at the Graduate Theological Union and Islamic University of Minnesota, a lecturer of Arabic language at the University of California, Berkeley, and an editor for Al-Azhar's Majma' Al- Buhuth Al-Islamiyyah in Egypt.

Sheikh Ammar Shahin

Sheikh Ammar Shahin was born in Cairo, Egypt where he began his Islamic training at a young age under the supervision of his father who was the sheikh of their village. He memorized the Qur’an at the age of twelve in various modes of recitation. He continued his Islamic education, graduating from the Institute for Preparation of Preachers with a B.A. in Islamic studies and earning an associates degree from al-Forqan institute. He then traveled to the United States in 1999 where he earned his B.S. in Computer Engineering. He then returned to Egypt where he completed his Islamic education by studying with some of the top scholars in the country, receiving from them ijazaat (licenses) in the various Islamic sciences, including ijazah to teach and narrate the Shaafi’ madhaab. He also will graduate from Azhar University this year

Muhammad ibn Muneer is a dynamic speaker born and raised in Philadelphia. After studying in Yemen, Mufti completed his Bachelor and Master Degree from the Islamic University of Madinah and is currently pursuing his PhD. Despite his concentration in Hadith, he has a strong passion to teach Fiqh. His classes are known to be very engaging, interactive, and full of discussion and Q&A. Mufti had the opportunity to study under many well known shayūkh of our time, from them: Shaykh Abdul Muhsin al-Abbad (may Allah preserve him).

Sheikh Abdullahi Bihi

Sheikh Abdullahi Bihi, a graduate of the Islamic University of Madinah, will explore in depth topics of Fiqh (Jurisprudence) according to the Shafi'i Madhab. Topics will include the types of transactions, marital law, divorce, and many others. This podcast is managed by the students of Sh. Abdullahi Bihi. New episodes can be expected weekly per the duration of a season.

Sheikh John Sterling

Imam John Starling is the Executive Director of GCLEA, in Cherry Hill, NJ and volunteers at Rutgers University, Camden as a Muslim chaplain. He is an alumnus of NCSU’s Poole College of Management and the Islamic University of Madinah. He holds a Master’s Degree in Islamic Studies from the Islamic University of Minnesota, possesses traditional ijazahs in several subjects including Hanbali fiqh, and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy. Imam John is also the founder of which seeks to revive traditional Islamic studies according to the illustrious school of Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal.

وحيد بن عبدالسلام البالى

وحيد عبد السلام بالي عالم دين مصري وداعية إسلامي معاصر. من مواليد محافظة كفر الشيخ بجمهورية مصر العربية عام 1963م، وحاصل على شهادة ليسانس آداب وتربية – شعبة اللغة العربية [1]، ومتفرغ لطلب العلم والدعوة إلى الله. اشتهر الشيخ وحيد بالرقية الشرعية وطرق علاج اعمال السحر والمس والجان حيث عالج بنفسه العديد من هذه الحالات بنجاح مع العديد من الاشخاص. وسرد ذلك في سلسلة كتبه في: كتاب (وقاية الإنسان من الجن والشيطان)، وكتاب (الصارم البتار في التصدي للسحرة الأشرار).

دكتور محمد حسن عثمان

ولد فضيلته: 14/11/1957م بمركز طهطا- محافظة سوهاج. حصل على الشهادة الثانوية الأزهرية سنة 1977م، وحصل على الليسانس من كلية الدراسات الإسلامية والعربية سنة 1981م (جيد جدًا) والترتيب: الثاني على الكلية، والماجستير في اللغة العربية وآدابها- تخصص لغويّات- سنة 1988م بتقدير: ممتاز، وحصل على درجة (العَالمية) الدكتوراه في نفس التخصص- مع مرتبة الشرف الأولى. وكان موضوعها: تحقيق ودراسة لغوية للجزء السادس من كتاب البسيط للواحدي (ت468هـ) تحت إشراف: أ.د/ السيد رزق الطويل أستاذ اللغويات بالكلية -رحمه الله-. التدرج الوظيفي: درجة أستاذ مساعد في اللغويات (نحو وصرف وعروض) سنة 1995م . درجة الأستاذية في اللغويات (نحو وصرف وعروض) سنة 2003م. الوظيفة الحالية: أستاذ ورئيس قسم اللغويات بالكلية . أبرز الأنشـــطــة: تدريس الكتب التالية في الجامع الأزهر الشريف: المرشد الوافي في العروض والقوافي «من مؤلفات فضيلته». شرح قَطْر النَّدى . شرح ابن عقيل على ألفيَّة ابن مَالِك . شرح شذور الذهبْ لابن هشام . وذلك في الفترة من 2001م وحتى تاريخه.
